Our Ship
Barber & Commander is a small batch, men’s grooming company, based in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Founded by a U.S. Navy Lt. Commander with products created by a U.S. Army Paratrooper turned Master Barber (Yes, that is a real thing).
Our hair, beard, and pleasure products are handcrafted with the best natural waxes, organic butters, essential oils, herbal extracts, and paraben-free preservatives that you can find.
The Voyage
It has been quite the expedition so far. Barber & Commander was founded in Ben the Barber’s Tennessee kitchen. Now we hand craft our products in Kentucky.
Our Army Airborne brother and Master Barber then hoisted sail and set off on the hunt for buried treasure. His legacy – extraordinary artisanal men’s grooming products.
The crew at Barber & Commander aim to foster a sense of freedom, adventure, and a feeling of “being underway” – with the sun on your face, a wind filling the canvas, a whiff of faraway islands and barrels full of the King’s rum
